LASERQUEST IS SOOPER GEREK! trust me, it is. we had some professionals from TRG (Tactical Real-Life Gaming) cmg over today to talk to the AC members regarding laserquest. adventure camp's cmg up and laser challenge is one of the activities thats gna be held during the camp. so we had to like get ourselves familiarise with the game plans and weapons first before anything else. so yeah, we were really lucky cos we got a chance to try out and play with the laser guns. shiookk giler seh. for now i know thr's only two tagger models, which is, 'G-100 Guardian Rifle' and 'Defender pistol'. basically, the guns uses infra-red to detect taggings. its really cool lah. felt as though we were playing counter strike just now, but only that, this is for real.
ok, so we had to come up with 3 groups of 6. so within this 6 people, we played 3 on 3. the first team started playing at the SAA level 2 & 3. kekek sah see them play. especially duke, lol. he so small alr then he hold on to big rifle, haha, hilarious. and they play as though their life really depends on it. LOL.
the second team was by far the most comical lah sak. hehe. it was an all-girls team btw. haha. but i didnt joined them though cos they alr had enough people so i joined the last team instead. and since i was the only girl left, i had to play with the guys. i didnt mind though. cos i know if play with guys more fun and got more kick. lol. action-packed bodoh. lol.
ANYWAY, the second game was a rather short one as compared to the first. think it was less than five mins. this time round they were playing at the triangular garden. aiseh, the girls were damn funnylah. when countdown started, this was what happen...
both went opposite directions knw..they thought they were safe from their enemies, but end up what happened? both sides were actually running towards each other. wahaha. so yea, they were like shooting one another face to face. HAHAHA. the rest of the guys cldnt stop laughing looking at their antics. lol. and all i cld think off was, "girls...lol". pfftt. haha. manyak kaklar wooohhh. haha.
so last but not least was my team! i think playing with the guys are so much better lah. they showed no mercy man, which is goood. lol. so it was me, chienguang and kian aik versus weicheng, ricky and dinesh. i was so onto the game lah. just love this kind of military stuff. still rmbr, i used to play this kinda thing with my cousins but we were very young then. lol. johan, rmbr? it was at ur old hse if im not wrng. heh. anw, back to the game. i was pratically running and hiding around design school in my jeans lah. haha. but like who cares? i was enjoying myself the whole time. hehhheh. very rare knw given the opportunity to run around sch and shoot people. lol. if im not wrong chienguang got tagged out first then followed by kian aik. and after that, i got chased by those 3 guys. bastard lah they all. the only thing that separates me from them was a flower pot. how pathetic is that? hahahha. hey, but atleast i survived the whole game considering i was 2 man down. 3 vs 1 knw...thats something to count for okay. don play play. lol. ok, here are the pics.

ok, im like chilling all alone now at the library watching pirates 2. like, finally i get to watch it lah. lol. been keeping it on hold since last year man. pfft. so after this, pirates 3! woohoo. well, ofcos tht'll have to wait till the dvd comes out uh. sighs, im so outdated. lol.
anyways, went shopping with my family at mustafa centre ystd. this kinda 'shopping w the family' thing is really rare, like once in a blue moon. so yes, was glad to have it. it was a last minute plan actually. mom wants to buy some pillows(lol?) for herself and dad wna go hunt for a pair of sport shoes. speaking of which, he's going to KL tmr to represent SSC in some sepak takraw competition. he is so lucky lah! first, hes travelling with hes frens, second, hes going thr 2 rep SSC and ANDDD, he gets to stay at the hotel(cant rmbr the name) which is just right opposite BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE! like WTH right! ahhhh. i wna ride that indoor rollercoaster again. pfftt. no fair. told my dad that i wna take LOA(leave of absence) from sch so that i can tag along with him. unfortunately but obviously, he didnt allow. :@
sad ok. sad cos i know im gna miss my dad. heh. he'll be away for 4 days, sighs. ANYWAY, back to mustafa, lol. we bumped into my dad's fren at the shoes department. and apparently, he was looking for shoes as well. just that hes finding for soccer boots. hah. dad says he'll be rep the soccer team. nehneh. another lucky one. hahh. soccer comp on thurs, ytd then find boots.., wow. haha. but like srsly, i cld go crazy admiring all the adidas soccer boots. they were everywhere. but like no point for me also. should bring bestie along, atleast she plays football.
i only got myself the potc 2 vcd ytd, nothing much. yes! another thing to strike out from my wishlist. lol. oh wait, i did get myself a formal pants(for my presentation next week. lol!) and a blazer. didnt wna buy the blazer first actually, but parents say since we're alr there, might as well buy it, so..OK lor..haha. since they wna pay for me. hehe.
oh, and i met ines there too! haha. shes my AC senior btw. i had to call her name for like 3 times b4 she responded lah. and she was just standing 2metres away from me? lol. her friend heard me though but she just stared at ines. HAHA. ok...

mom's really funny when shes very excited. lol. when i came bk home from training ytd, the first thing she said when she saw me was, "KAKAK(big sister)! guess who i bumped into today?" judging from her excited tone, i immediately knew who. its aliff, that 16 year old boy who recently became the champion of Anugerah, a singing competition show held by Suria. my mom's going head over heels for himlah. lol. ok, its more on hes cute and boyish look i guess. well, thts according to her. to me hes jst normal. lol. hmm, maybe cos ive seen even better looking guys out there. hahaha. so yeah, heard that my dad went to approach aliff to congratulate him. they were at some coffeshop at wlds. and before he left with hes family, he went over to my parents to 'salam'(shake hands) them. i bet my mom cldnt stop smilinglah. lol. happy gilerr gilerr lahh she when she told me this. lol.

DESIGNSCHOOLROCKS. lol. very random right? haha. yes. allthanks to lynn who brought us to her studio on tuesday. like seriously, ive never been to that part of design school before. and i find it cool cos its like u have ur own freedom to go here and there. u get to have ur own classrooms where u can just slack and chill while doing ur artworks. esp their work area. its as though their alr in their working world. so fun! i like. you can lepaklepak ard if you want also. provided if u have a fren in dsign school lah that is. heh.
ahh. im so loving my music tutorial now. its no more music history and all that boring stuff. as for now, we're exposed to other genres such as rock and pop. fun! we get to watch many many music videos and movies realted to this genres. only last tuesday, we got to watch school of rock during lecture. weeeeeee. i likee. not the whole of it ofcos. and next week, is the start of our second assignment. we are gna make music people! yessa! its either we're gna have to record and produce an entirely original song OR we cld choose to remix a commercially-released song. cool huh? :D cantwait!!!! lol. i just realised that many people really want to get into my CDS. dk why also. lol. hmm, guess im kinda lucky to get into it. haha.
absailing course 1 & 2 coming up in august! i dont wna miss this chance seh. BUT! money no enough liao. 130bucks leh. "cien pu to yong!" :'( sad man if cannot go. so wasted lah. its both 1 and 2 at the same time.

past two days has been a bliss so far. why? cos no assignments due anytime soon, thts why! now, i can just go home, have a nice decent meal, watch some ellen and tyra talkshows, more nice shows at night and then sleep! wooot. i might as well enjoy iit while i can before everything is taken away, erm, in about, another two weeks time? yes. all the hassle will start ALL over again. ppfffffft.

(err..ok, it doesnt make sense here. lol, i cannt rmbr the lyrics.) today we had, "This is home, truly, where i know i must be, where my dreams wait for me...bla bla bla." and err, "sunshine..something2." god, i really cantt rmbr. stml, sry. haha. so yes, this explains why we had our class interupted. guess
the tutors are kinda irritated abt it. especially, ms de silva. lol! her expression was priceless. hehe.

class ended at ten in the morning today :D so since it ws vry vry early, i went to catch Harry Potty with shikin just now. lol. it was her treat. hehe. terima kasih shikin :) so nice of her to accompany me although she alr watched it. apparently, i alr made plans to catch it in the evening. just wna experience watching a movie on my own once in a while. haha. but ges, tht'll just haf to wait.
the fifth movie was alright for me. love the new characters, esp nymphadora tonks. but if you were to ask me, i'd still prefer the book as compared to the movie. like who wldnt right? lol. some parts are fast-forwarded, so yeah you really have to concentrate during the whole show. but its still worth the bucks. yesyes.

veni. vidi. ascendi. (which actually means; i came, i saw, i climb) i so digg the official rocka tee. nice2. but sadly for me, i didnt climb. lol. didnt sign up uh. im still waiting for that sports climbing level one course. heh.
today was rockamania open category for novice, intermediate and speed. participants from all the other polys, as well as from SMU and NTU signed up. i find that open category is more happening compared to close. and i finally got a chance to see the SC people taking part in the intermediate category. then there was this one chinese girl, from TPSC, who was the only one who manage to climb all the way up till after the 90 degree mark swing. woaa. shes damn power lah sia. even the guys cldnt reach till there. girl power! lol. i guess cos their path was a lot harder than the women. didnt reallly get a chance to watch the speed category though. it started at 8 plus and i had to go home by then so yeaa, i manage to watch the pros do the demo for the participants during observation time. i bet its gna be the most interesting category to watch during tmrw's finals.
ohyes, i met up with an old friend of mine just now! god, it has been like what, 4 years since we last met?? yepp. i coincidentally bump into rafidah at the registration booth while i was giving out the goodie bags and shirts. i thought she looked very familiar and she thought i looked familiar too. wahahha. so yeah, we finally figured out that we were ex-grpmates during the sec 2 leadership training camp at st. john's island. haha. she was my closest buddy during camp apart from iryy and arwah nadd. we even partnered tghter during tht scary night walk. heh. but we kinda lost contact after the camp. so sad seh but nvm, we shall keep in contact from now on. lol. and i just found out tht shes in adventure club too! lol. only that shes from nanyang poly. ok, we kinda made a racket when we met, scream like nbdy's business. haha. excited mah. lol. and i caused one long line of ppl queuing and waiting to get their goodie bags. wahahha. lucky the president and captain didnt see. heehee.
omg. the mata gula super panas! lol! the mata gula came to school today for floorball training. wooots . haha. faezah, not your luck to see upclose lahh. hahaha. always side and back view only you get. lol. wasted. so ofcos, yknowlah, i was in a good mood the whole day. lol. so jst now when i went home, i took 969 at the intchg andd guess who i saw at the queue? the super panas mata gula! lol. standing right infront of me. woah, felt so gabra and tak tentu arah ( mixed reaction) seh. today must be my lucky day! :D lol. take note shirin take note. wahahahaha.
im not on duty for tmrw's finals. sad. but i wana go back sch and watch. surely gerek! sry, non-pic post. didnt really took that much pictures. was busy running ard all the time. i was the runner ystd so yea waddya expect. the runner had to get the competition results' to the MC, for him to annouce as well as paste it on the notice board. and i realised that whenever im pasting the results, one whole big crowd will form behind me. lol. patience people patience.

Rockamania XIII was so fun just nw! its a rockclimbing event btw if you guys dk. volunteered as an event official with AC. it was my first time watching this kind of competition, so yeah, it was a nice experience. plus, i made many many new friends. esp those from the Sportsclimbing IG. they helped me alot today as i was the only one from AC assigned to help out at the isolation place for novice men. it was quite a tiring job cause i had to get the participants down, get the harnesses up again for the others when their done climbing and check their attendance. god knows how many times i went up and down the stairs. tiringlah but i had fun doing it. cos i got to observe how the participants distress themselves b4 it was their turn to climb. hahaha. each individual has their own funny antics, pre and post climb. lol. and that kept me companied. so, today was closed category. had to went off early though. so i cldnt get a chance to see the sportclimbing people participate in the intermediate category. cant wait for the open category next sat. woot.

alright, here's what im pissed off about. well not really, just annoyed. something shocking happened just now when iryy and me wna go home. we were outside the mrt stn, and then thr's this aunty who was just standing at the middle of nowhere along with a mat and (ohforgoodness sake i srsly haf no idea what she was selling) some stuffs laid on it. so yeah, i didnt realised that i ACCIDENTALLY stepped on her mat. and she went totally wild. i kept saying sorry and she was like, "what ah, sorry sorry sorry" (and she kept repeating that) like WTH? but the most shocking thing was she kept poking me. like seriously, what is her problem ah?? its not as if i fell on her things or what. and i apologised. she was srsly testing my patience lah. i cant recall what happens after that but all i can rmbr is that iryy quickly pulled me away into the mrt stn. phew. and tht incident just makes me feel uneasy. blearghhh. ok movin on.
and now i just found out that my fave tee have red spots all over it. it was washed this morning and i think some red clothes colur faded and thus resulting on the red spot. and it looks totally horrendous now. argh! irritating seh. mom s8 it was alright and said that i can just go and buy another one. no way man! i str away took the tee, and wen to soak it with bleach. next, i was like recording some show on sctv(indo channel). and i thot that for the past hour, the recording was running well but no! guess what? my dad switched off the booster, 10 mins after i strted recording. which means that it records nothing! so now its a tape with blank recording. AHHHHHHHH. very siann eh.

im experiencing the aftermath of watching transformers right now. definitely gna catch that movie again. loved every minute of it. especially love the part where sam tried to hassle hes way through the streets to get the cube to the rooftop. the CG was awesome! imagine modelling a transformer in maya. boy, i can so smell the A. haha. but neah, im not doiing anything like that, i'll stick to mr potato head, thanks. but if i were given a choice, i wna model optimus prime! soopershiok ah see him transform. isnt it cool to have a transformer robot as a guardian? haha. anw, went to catch the movie with bestie and her fren, isa. told her that after watching the movie, now whenever see any cars, trucks or lorries, youre like expecting them to transform before you or something. hahaha. and and..josh duhamel! hothunklahh. hees. he looks more gdlooking when hes all muddy and soiled. lol. woaa. tranformers is a must watch.

yayy! just went to check my option block result at the tp website. and im confirmed taking Distributed Multimedia next sem. was quite shock though cos only 45 ppl are taking 3D Visualisation and Animation. hmm. total opp from the previous batch.
anw, i had in3d just now and george yam is sick so mr douglas finnigan had to fill in for him. man, i seriously wish he was our teacher. im sure majority of my classmates would agree with me on that. shall not comment why though. heh. gta agree with what mel s8. foreign teachers definitely teaches better. mhmm.
moving on. AC AGM(annual general meeting) went very well ystd. the set-up was done outdoor and i think its a great idea. cos usually agm takes place at the audi and i find it really boring there. heh. ohyah something lame happened during the refreshment time ystd. mai and i was at the halal buffet area helping to serve the food. and then one of the freshies accidentally dropped a piece of curry chicken wing. so i picked it up and wrapped it in a tissue. so when ricky came, i asked him to help me throw that chicken since the dustbin was kinda far and i was busy. and ricky, being the lame clown him, took the chicken and started scanning the floor.
me: ricky, careful later the chicken dropped.
mai: eh ricky, what you looking for?
(he was still scanning around the floor)
me: eh, what you looking for lah, later the chicken drop....
ricky: shirin, later if you see any chicken running around, you tell me know?
-_- okkayy. funny lah ricky. lol.
anw, the natl stadium closing ceremony event was great. so kecoh down there. and, finally i met nadia. haha. still the same old her. ok, although singapore didnt win both match, i still think that they gave their best. and it must be really sad for them to play in that arena for the last time. the stadium is like their playgrd. esp for the ex-nationals. speaking of that, FANDI AHMAD didnt play! woaaa. sad ah. was looking forward to see him in action. hais. the lions vs aust match was entertaining though. and it looks like i alr have a competition for the no.17 player. lol. dangg. hehe. as long as its not torres can alr. eh torres, disappointed in you lah. why you choose liverpool over man utd?? why why why?! waseh. i really hope what i heard is just a nightmare. come on lah torres, make the right choice.
