caught this jst now while i was chatting with bestie. didnt realise she was in this position for the past half hour. lol. oh the funny part was when she suddenly jerk, took out her hand from the pack, rub her forehead, sat up, continued eating the prawn crackers then few seconds later, she when back to sleep again. HAHAHA.
atleast now i know how to avoid her from getting all cranky when she wakes up from sleep: Standby snacks beside her. lol.

ok work is getting real good i must say. calls, emails, follow-ups, scannings, edittings, promoting..yeah kinda sum up what ive been doing for the past 2 weeks and 2 days. and lunching alone is alr becoming a norm. been having dates with ronald macdonald almost everyday now. hope i dont get sick of him soon. i have another 3 months beb! no no cannottt.
oh ms faridah, cum my careperson cum my LO (Liasion Officer) from school came by the office today. didnt stay long though. checked on what ive been doing so far, met up with my supervisor,then off she went. hoho. honestly, it felt really nice to see a familiar face after weeks of not gg to sch. ok fine its only the third week into attachment but im missing school alr can! ahhhhhhh.
my boss rock la today. for the whole day, he turned on music out loud in his office. so obviously from outside we can hear. its like for the first time in 2 weeks, i was actually ENJOYING work. haha. music always makes the environment a better place, dont it? hahaha. his selection of songs are not bad leh. he even listens to jonas brothers lah! like WOW. hahaha. when 'when you look me in the eyes' came on, i felt like gng into his office and shoutout a BIG THANK YOU to him. haha. :D
oh just a few minutes ago, my supervisor told me that i cld listen to music during work if i wanted to. coolshid. like how better can the day get? *eyebrow motion* and i think by now my colleague alr found out that there's smtg wrong with me cos im always doing random stupid stuff in the office. damn. my kental & slengeh identity have been exposed. *&*@()*#)(*@#. lol.
and im a happy kid now. finally got hold of 11 Januari by Gigi. not 13 September or 12 Januari by Gusi & Colgate ahh, thank you. HAHA. :P have been searching high and low for it la and finally got it from my cousin. i seriously need to start downloading songs again. been putting it on hold for a weee bit too long. reason being? well actually no reason. im just plain lazy. heh.

the attempt to wake up at 6am Failed as of this week. i always ended up dragging my sleepy self
out of bed at exactly 6.52am every single day. and its a downright torment jst doing that. definitely gg to be a Sleep-In Saturday for me tmr.
work is getting more interesting day by day. besides jst staying in the office staring at my
laptop the whole day, i got to do something new for a change. jst a day ago, i had a chance to follow katie meet up with clients at companies located in jurong and balestier. seeing tht it was my first time meeting with real clients, i guess i did fairly alright. definitely benefitted alot from these sessions.
and katie's been really nice and cool so far. bt idk why i still feel nervous whenever shes ard though. the fact that shes too nice makes me more afraid of her. haha. its a weird theory.
hmm. wonder how my other coursemates are doing. hope they're dng alright. im starting to miss school alr. no actually i miss eating the fishball noodle at itas canteen. lol. lunch these days have been a solo affair for me. sadded right? haha. bt ytd i found myself a lunch buddy! lol. sid's working nearby. so we met up and have lunch together at ljs. :)
okay i'd better get going on the weekly journal. sigh. its been a really lonnnggg week. im bushed.

so first day at work was O-K.
took me by surprise when i reach the office 15 mins earlier. finding the place wasnt as hard as i thot it wld be. one thing i like abt this company is that its flexible and the ppl there are friendly and really nice. esp katie, my supervisor. i jst arrived and she alr asked me out for morning coffee opp selegie ctr. gerek or what. lol. she went through with me more or less all that i need to know abt the company as well as what i'll be doing for the next 3 months. kinda took some time for me to soak it all in. afterall its the first time im actually working so gta learn the ropes well.
i'll be dng sales this whole week. yeah i know ntg to do with my course. projects will start cmg in next week so as for now, its all abt sending mass emails and doing calls. gah! i suck at calling. but i'll try my best tmr. CMON SHIRIN. YOU CAN DO IT! lol. SEMANGAT or whaaatt. sheesh.
anw, thanks for the encouragement today guys. u know who u are. it definitely made me feel better. it takes 123456 muscles for me to smile knw. so it really means a lot. HAHA. ok ignore that muscle part. im crapping. lol. thx to mi mama too for the much wanted help. :D

time's like my official nemesis now. partly the reason why i havent been updating for quite some while. sry ppl, it was really unintentional.
been occupied with so may stuff this whole week. rockamania, tuitions, pre-sip briefings, get smart, birthday surprise, AC, napfa, chalet, wedding invitations...
first up was rocka last saturday. hadta sleepover in school the night before to help out with packing of the goodie bags and setting up of the registration and isolation venues. the packing was ok, but carrying of the goodie bags and boxes to and fro was defintely no fun at all. hoho. on saturday itself, i was assigned at the isolation area. it was closed novice & intermediate category that day, so there weren't many participants. i only got a chance to catch the last few tp sports climbing ppl competing in the intermediate category. one thing i'll always look out for is how they get themselves up the 90degree mark. it looks rly hard to overcome that obstacle and im sure its even harder trying to get up on it. i did took a few videos. will post it up on my next post so u guys can see how they do it.
the open category's happening this weeekend where outsiders can come in and participate. even the pros are taking part. bt i wont be helping out so im gna miss all the good fun action. pffttt. :(
pre-sip briefings have been really fruitful i must say. atleast i feel more or less ready for attachment now, i think. hoho. speaking of which, got a call from my attachment place last friday. company's all the way at Selegie Rd beb! gna be seeing lots of polkadots walking ard everyday. lol. im jst glad that im not posted somewhere near tuas or at the east side. hoh. im told that i'll be dng web designing and developing internet applications. okkk, not bad. atleast i'll be dng something that ive learnt before, so think im okay. tak okay pon, okay-kan je lah. heh.
tuesday was greatt! went to catch Get Smart with the cousins in the evening. omg that movie is beyond hilarious, from the beginning till the end. what'll make me laugh even more is when the other two randomly laugh even when the funny part was over. lol. shall watch it again online soon!
went to meet up with nadia after that to carry on with farhana's birthday surprise. and boy was it a success! got you farhana! yeahooo! haha. :P setting up tis whole surprise at the fields opp cwp wasnt as easy as we thot. all because of 3 things: passers-by, wind, and more wind. haha. but in the end, it was definitely worth it. especially seeing how surprised she was when she saw me and nadia appeared out of nowhere. you deserved all this bestie! once again, happy belated birthday!! :D oh, and thanks iman, once again, for cooperating with us the whole time. we owe u one. :D
i passed my NAPFA! woohoo. haha. somehow i know that it doesnt matter but i am still happy. lol. it was a new experience doing napfa with the IND coursemates as well as students from other course. funny seeing how hyped up my male classmates are while taking the test. all becos of that NS requirement thing. something like if they pass napfa, they can delay NS admission for two months after graduation. so if let say they fail at only one station, they still have to retake the test. pity them seh. tssk2.
after napfa, headed over to aloha loyang for a 3d2n chalet with mom's side. its nurin's 1st birthday so the party ws held on saturday. first time staying over at the bungalow site. the area inside is rly spacious and there's like a field compound infront jst for our unit. played soccer with fiqah, hazlyn and some other small kids who came on the last night. uber fun. laughed, screamed, dead snake, FROGS! (urghh), slipped, fell, flying slippers...yup pretty summarised what happened during the game lah ah. ahha. and i think i over worked myself to the max. my leg now feels like its gna give away any moment. thot of staying up the last night but sadded, cannot make it. once my head touched the pillow, game over. hoho.
so its the same everyday. reach home late, have my dinner, watch some tv then str to lalaland. jst too tired to go online. was planning of making full use of this week before 'work' strts tmr. looking back, i actually did. well atleast i made most of it.
