monday was a great day well spent with my close ones. :D
first up, bestie came by my place in the afternoon to watch some show i recorded. its been weeks since we met and shes getting tanner and tanner by the minute lah. lol. anw, we chilled out, lunch together then played some games. she had a go on my guitarhero and i tried playing her DTX. haha we look like noob while playing cos it was new to us, u see. lol. i think we should just stickto what we're good at uh farhana. agree? heehee. XD
later in the evening, i met up with the cousins to go catch Vantage Point at PS. and i was early! lalalalalalala. lol. vantage point was a refreshing and let me see, a rewinding movie? haha. it was good all in all. free tix ofcos good ah. hehe. thanks johan! XD
we went for dinner after the movie. headed to far east for a "good five minutes" walk as approximated by zul. haha. wanted to go to Cahaya at first but we settled with Bin Mutalib. oh, thanks for the treat kak siti! :D and i tried wantan for the first time! woohoo. ok that info is so irrelevant. but still, dinner was fun cos we kept laughing at random stuffs. when youre out with cousins like mine, this is what happens. nothing is serious. lol.
last minute unplanned outings are absolute fun. half the time we dont know where we're heading to. but i dont mind actually cos i enjoyed every single one of their company. all with their own nonsense and whatnots. hohoho. pity kak nora though. all the way she got teased about the hotel toilets. lol.
the night was still young so kak nora suggested that we go esplanade. since we had no clue where we're heading to, again, might as well. e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g was funny lah ystd. want to find for bus service that goes to that big durian also kecoh. haha.
we got ice-creams at marina square macdee before making our way to esplanade. i think there's something in our ice-creams, seriously. everyone went dingdong after tht. hah. dont need vodka all, ice creams are more than enough to make us go, "hiee!...i am mrs nesbittt!" (if u watch toy story, u'll knoe what i mean. lol)

well, Hyatt Hotel ofcourse. because they provide public toilets at the lobby and Royal Scotts does not. :S
ok crap. haha. why do i have to go through this ordeal each and everytime i go out with kak nora? why?! why?!
anws, im gna storytell AGAIN today.
kak nora wanted to go check out the macbeth shoes at far east and so i accompanied her there. did some window shopping as well. and as usual, when you dont have any moolah, all the nice things are calling out to you. but when you have that buckbuckbuck, you dont know what to get. sigh. why is that always the case?? gahh!
so ok. nature calls and i hadta to go to the loo. so yea, she suggested that we go to the toilet at Royal Scotts, since she wanted to check out the oh-so-nice chocolates at Carousel also. ok, so we went. to my dismay, there wasnt any toilet at level 1. so kak nora suggested we go to the next level. ok so we happy2 went into the lift and press level 3.
the lift didnt move an inch. by then we decided that we shld go out. and then we saw another lift. yaa that should be the correct one. and so we happily went into that lift, along with two caucasian, mother and her daughter. ok cool.
lift door close. then the ang-moh lady spoke, "youve got to insert in your card before you can press the levels".
>> ohyeaaa...we KNEW that... eeerrrr... MALUNYERRRRRRRR!! omg. how slengeh can we get?? we actually thought that the lift wld miracally moved by itself? we're living in the twentieth century ppl! SHIRIN!!! have you not beeen to any hotels lately?! aiyohyoh. blondeness strikes back. hmph.
so what happened next? we acted cool lah what else. lol.
the woman press on level 11.
shirin (whispering): kak, tekan ah level 3. kater nak pegi level 3.
nora: aahhh nvm ah. naik jer. (maseh nak act cool nie..padehal2. HAHA!)
that was a "smart" move. the lift went all the way up to the eleventh floor. and throughout the lift ride, the woman was staring a us. nampak sahh she know tht we're not staying at that hotel. malu beb.
the lift door open, both of them got out and WE still acted cool. goodness. lol. this was where it got really funny.
shirin: kak..how are we supposed to get back down if we dont have any card?
nora: (STARTS LAUGHING LIKE NO ONE BUSINESS ALREADY)
and she still can suggest tht we should take photos. wth!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! we rushed out of the lift. half panicking half laughing. hiding here and there trying to find our way back down.
and there.....the EXIT sign. our lifesaver!! we walked all the way down the staircase to the ground floor. and kak nora still hasnt stop laughing yet. hahaha! thats what i like about her. ppl in panick, she still so carefree. lol lah.
the exit led us to the back alley of the hotel. great. so i suggested that we should pretend like nothing happened cos we alrdy had people from inside the hotel's restaurant looking at us wondering wth were this two goner nutcase doing down there.

last night was horrible. i felt this huge lump in my throat and i cldnt stop shivering. hid under my comforter the whole night. out of nowhere got fever. weird. thot of gng to arwah nad's kenduri the next day but the body's not in my favour. :(

anw, had otc refresh 2 today. tiring but worth every single bit of it. had more bonding sessions with the empire and ofcos the learning of the mass GL cheer. this cheer has got to be the
l-o-n-g-e-s-t cheer that ive ever learnt. and when i mean long, its 8-9 mins long. so that'll leave me with only 2 weeks to get every single word and sound right. hoho.
oh, the news just keeps getting better and better.
i only found out this morning that school reopens on the 21/22 Apr and not on the 15th.
[only for the TP. heehee.] shiok or what! that means i have another week of holiday! ahhhhhhhh....~

on a high note, i graduated to year 3. yea but with a GPA like mine, im so not ready for MP.
anw, the past three days have been really exhausting. fyrhto chalet at costa sands was overall fun. only abit cocked up thanks to the bad weather. so it was indoor cards, games and more bonding times. oh, and ive managed to learn a thing or two on how mahjong is played. haha. it took me like a whole night + day, to like get a grasp on how its being played. lol.
the PSP, or more known as the anti-social device at chalets/camps, lol, was a major influenced the whole time. not kidding. almost everyone got hooked onto it. see what rainy weather did to us? hais. well, i suggested rollerblading most of the time though. and i think i irritated most of them with this idea. lol.
BBQ on second night was great. otahs, satays, black-pepper chicken, crabmeat, hotdogs, potatoes (BBQ-ed potatoes spread with butter are YUM!) and bee hoon on the menu.
ahh cant wait for refresh 2.

after years and years of procrastinating myself on how to even stand on those things, i finally know how to rollerblade people! ahhh what a relief to be rid of that old fear. mission accomplished.
okay the day didnt start off tht well actually. it was getting all dark and cloudy when we reach ECP. and then kak yan's car alarm had to go off and me and kak siti got banglas looking at us panicking. wthlah. anw, earlier on we planned to just rent the rollerblades then go as far as possible from the rental shop so that we dont have to embarass ourself since its our first time. but no, we decided to stay at the beginner's ring BECAUSE none of us know how to rollerblade so might as well just act like beginners right? haha.
i was the last one on the ring cos i dilly dally took my time to put on the knee and elbow pads. plus, happily laughing away at the other three trying to balance themselves. it got even this chinese woman laughing. but end up i heard, she also fell. lol! tu lah ketawa kan orang lagi..hehehehe. ANW, just when i finally got myself up and moving (with the help of the railings ofcos. heh), it rained. @*#*@#*_)@($78420*&&@*(!!
at first, we just ignored it since it was only drizzling but it got really heavy after that. we definitely had alot of ppl looking at us struggling to get ourself back to the rental shop. i think the lady working at the shop cldnt help feeling sorry thts why she came down to help us. lol.
the rain, unfortunately, didnt stop. so we didnt waste any more time and just rollerblade in the rain.
i only fell twice ytd! compared to the rest. hehe. oh, both on my butt btw. gah! i think their all mad at me now. when i see one fall, i fell. when i praise them, they fell. when they want to help me, they fell. okay, to sum up, most of the time they fell is all because of me. haha sorry man. i promise, next time out rollerblading with u people, i shall keep my mouth shut okay? grrr. but it was nice to have learnt something new with them though.

twas a fun girls' day out. we should really go do more rollerblading next time. and this time..more prepared. with butt pads!
