whoa. i so so tired. haha. just came back from the family chalet ytd. and i totally knocked out when i reached home. slept at ard 7pm, if im not wrong, till early nine plus in the morning. still feeling alil wobbly now though. nyehheh.

despite the tiredness, i had a really fun time at the chalet. all the foods, the games, the aunts & uncles funny antics, the countless laughters and hanging out with the cousins basically sums up the whole three days there at aloha loyang.

Day One:

reached there ard 5 plus then headed to the pool for a swim. spent abt an hour or so swimming ard then went back to the chalet to wash up and get ready for the BBQ. BBQ was H-E-A-V-E-N. we had satays, otahs, chicken wings, prawns, chicken franks, chilli stingrays and squids(yummay!) and barbecued marshmellows! YUMM YUMM! ohyes not forgetting the chocolate fondue :D so okay, the dresscode for that night was BLACK & WHITE. i had my white top on along with a black 3/4 pants. we had to take a family photo, so ta-da, the dresscode. uhuh.

oh, apart from having a family gathering, we were there to celebrate 5 august babies birthdays which are zul, abg man, kak yan, kak nora and kak susi. lmao, everyone had a good laugh when they were saboh-ed. HEHEHE. *evil laugh* we didnt have any candles for the cake so we had to make do with some tea lights(candles). they were placed on a frisbee which were on the cake box. the five of them were told to blow out as many candles as they can. BUT the trick is, they have to be blindfolded. hahha. so when everyone started singing the bdae song, my dad took the candles away and i replaced it with a plate of powder. u people can so guess whadd happened next right? lol.

so after the cutting of cake and doa selamat, it was Games Time! everyone were divided into teams of 5 and my "partners in battle" lol,were wak man, kak helimmi and my mom. sadded seh. we have to loan people everytime as we r short of 1 person. hahaha.

so first up was the capteh competition. the kids cant play for nuts lah. lol. but the aunties and uncles were good. and when i say good, its really really good. their childhood game mah, so cant blame them for playing so well. haha. and so my team won, thanks to wak man and my mom. i only managed to bounce twice. pfftt. HAHA. eh better than one ok? haha. infact this was the only game my team won. LMAO.

next game involves using rubberbands to tie a male hair. this time only 3 players are required. the team leader had to sit on a chair and the other two had to tie as many strands of hair within 5 minutes. we had to tie wak man's hair and we came in last this time. lol. its alright..hahahha.

last game for that night was Fishing! each team were given 6 straws, a string and masking tapes to create a fishing rod in the most creative way. Given ten minutes to fish out as many balls as we cld using that rod. we managed to fish out 18 balls in total. second last. sadded. lol.

i stayed up the whole night with johan and kak siti. and zul also. aiyah he not counted, he took many naps. lol. but before that, we played taiti, 21 and uno attack. that was alr ard 1 plus cmg to 2am. so instead of sleeping, the four of us watched movies from my laptop. 'chetchoochetchootchet' LMAO. (inside joke)

Day Two:
Rise and Shine! played some football then went for a swim. after breakfast, games continued. this time round, it involves only the female team members. its a shooting game btw. we had to shoot out as many candles as we cld. FUN! i kept laughing at my aunties antics. they are one hilarious bunch of people. hahahaha. there is still a kid in everyone. i so agree to that phrase. lol.

we hit the arcade after the games. god knows how many times i played daytona the whole time i was there. lol. now, the only boring part was when we had to wait for the parents to come back. they had a wedding invitation to attend so yeah, i took the chance to have a short nap.

next game was table soccer. oh i so love this game! 3 ppl from each team. 1 keeper, 2 players. we were given party blowers that we have to use to move the ball. despite the headknocks, injuries and children crying, the game was fun and hilarious. we made a lot of noise lah. you cld hear as though there were baby elephants ard. lol.

Next up was the balls transportation using straws. no touching of the balls and yah basically just transport them from one place to another in the quickest time possible. quite mediocre but still alright.

The final game was water transportation. 3 players from each team had to lift a styrofoam plate which has 3 strings attached to its side. a cup of water was placed on the middle of the plate. so we had to balance the cup, make sure it doesnt drop and spill all that. again, it was a time challenge. these game is beyond comical. srsly. everyone cldnt stop laughing everytime the cups fell. all the other teams wld try to distract the team which is playing. funny to the core. ROFL.

overall score, my team only recieved the consolation prize. aww sad. lol. BUT its okay cos we had fun. i know i had fun. and im glad my team members are all so sporting. :D the blue team was like the team to beat throughout ah. whatever ah johan. lol.

Day Three: [ last day :( ]
i slept at 12 plus the night before. too tired alr to stay up again. lol. woke up at 8 plus. went swimming again. played more arcade then went cycling. after that was HOME SWEET HOME.

all good things must come to an end. i enjoyed myself extremely down there. i loved spending time with the ngapin family. they bring fun, joy and laughter to my life. like what kak nora said, i really feel blessed to have such a fun and sporting family. a family that knows no boundaries when it comes to family bonding time. this chalet really brought everyone tghter and i hope that tis annual event will carry on each and every year. insyaAllah.
