kicking of lazy habits is a killer, really. just to settle myself down and BLOG is beyond exhausting. i meant the brain.
so before this fickle-minded brain of mine strike on its rampant indolentness again, i shall blog now. and fast.
its new year's eve today! which also marks the start of school and the end of my two-week holiday. sadded. had to drag myself out of bed at nasty 5:30am this morning. 8-6pm straight on a monday. bleargh. but santa claus kaye made my day, "classes after 1pm will be cancelled!" hoorah!!! thats the best christmas present ever! lmao.
if this two-weeks holiday isnt the best-ever, i dont knoe what else is. hohoho. the holidays were nothing else but bliss and fun. i cant recall the last time i actually called a holiday a HOLIDAY, if you knoe what i mean.
so first up was the weekend 3d2n trip to KL. and im glad to say that the trip was a fruitful one as we didnt visit the same old places, like we always do, namely; Masjid India and Petaling Street. this time we managed to visit Putrajaya, Pavillion, Uptown night shopping at Taman Melati and COLMAR @ Bukit Tinggi. the stopover at Putrajaya reminds me of the esplanade. okay mainly because i spotted quite a number of youths hanging ard there. haha, ok nonse. but really, the environment and all were similar. stayed at hotel SuCasa for the whole 3 days.
after dinner, dad and i along with my 3 other cousins made our way to Petaling Street. honestly, it was an unpleasant experience down there at the KL chinatown. it showed me a glimpse of Malaysians that ive nvr seen before. and i find it pretty upsetting. nuff' bout tht. oh btw, the weather werent nice to us all day. :S yes, the first day cldnt be any more dreadful.
well, thankfully saturday improved. after filling ourselves up with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, Masjid India was up next on the itinerary. no need to say, when you mention Masjid India, its the shopping haven for the 'makciks' (aunties). spent the whole afternoon there before heading off to the Pavillion. Pavillion is Malaysia version of Vivocity. only tht its not by the harbour. hoho. the place is huge and welcoming. had our evening tea at The Loaf. a cafe owned by Msia's ex-Prime Minister, Dr Mahathir. oh, we had donuts too! yummay. i didnt get my Dunkin Donuts though, but J.Co Coffee & Donuts was just as tasty. *smacks lips*
and thanks to my relative who stays at KL, we discovered uptown night market at Taman Melati. next KL trip, Petaling Street, strike of the list! we have a new shopping paradise yaw! good deals and reasonable price. definitely gna visit that place again. :) we shopped till after midnight. even my grandad was still up and going in the wee hours of the morning. had our late late supper at the all-famous must-go eating place at Syed Bistro. roti BOM on the menu! :P
last day was spent at the relatives house at Taman Melawati(?) before making our way to COLMAR, the french-themed resort at Bukit Tinggi. the resort's ambience reminds me of diagon alley in harry potter. haha. cool atmosphere and lovely sceneries. magical.
reached Singapore at 3am.
pukol tiga pagi.... hehe. and boy were we welcomed with 2 very good news. for some apparently. lol. Hady won Asian Idol and Liverpool lost 1 nil to Man Utd. YESSA!
astonishingly, i wasnt feeling tired at all when i went for another 3 d2n camp at school the next day. the camp went alright. somehow i did alot of self-reflecting when i left for home. dont knoe why. dont ask why. period.
okay. by right, these two were ALL thats noted in my holiday list. little did i know, that that was just the beginning of my fun in the sun holiday. hehe.
like ive said before, i adore last minute plans. from family outings to luge-riding in sentosa to late night bowling on xmas's eve. oh sleepover at the cousin's crib topped the list. most of the time there was spent on nothing else but playing XBOX 360. like finally i get to play it after so long. lmao. and if dreaming of Burnout weren't bad enough, road markings (arrow) are making me hallucinate GuitarHero. whats happening to me man? the aftermath of playing xbox is rly something. lol. or maybe its just me. hmm. XD and i finally knoe how to play the soccer games. although I could only net a couple of goals, and win 2 out of 10 games overall, pfttt, im still glad tht atleast i know how to play it now. heeheee. achievement okay. lol. all thanks to johan. what can i say, hes a gaming pro. he really should start tutoring ppl in gaming man.(if there ever is such a thing. haha.) . instead of making one feel inferior, he makes you wna beat him in games so badly. and thats a good thing though. wooo.
to sum up the hols, was last evening's dinner with the cousins. all the 17 cucu2 Ngapin came together to have a nice turkish dinner at El-Sheikh restaurant at Pahang Street. No Parents Allowed, just Cousins. twas a fun night. shant say much. whatever happens there remains there. haha. all i can say is, everyone's pretty much used up all the laughing gas. even my toes had more than enough. HAHAHHA -__________- (inside joke, very lame).
like is said, best-holiday ever, really. pics will be uploaded on the next post yaw. so catch this space soon people.
now my hands are itching for guitar hero! gahhhhhhhhhh!
