Madhatter Birthday party pic as promised. :D
My belo-ness reached its high spot last weekend, nonetheless, the trip down to tanjung pinang was definitely fun. I missed having the indo delicacies, especially the ikan bakar. So yea was kinda glad to finally taste it agn after last having it during the jawa trip. The sop ayam and apam balik, or 'murtabak' as the indos call it, were just as awesome. Lunch was shiok ahhh. Oh speaking of lunch, so paiseh la. I wanted to order mineral water. So ya la when the person asked for my order, i said, "Mineral satu". And she gave me this blank face. Idk how many times i've repeated it. Then finally Fika was like, "Oh Sanqua satu.." Laaa wth, how in the world am i supposed to know its called sanqua? Mineral2. Alermakkk. Drop my waterface oni. Haha.
That night, fattah's dad bought 'tahu sumbat' for all of us cos we were really famished. Fika dared me to eat it with the cili padi, which i did. Stupid me go take a big bite of it even after she warned me not to. Served me right la, hot shid bodo. Haha. Fattah was next to try it. He another gendeng, go do the same thing as i did. Should have seen his face mann. He frequents the toilet alot after that. Hahahahahaha disturb ppl somemore lah fattah. Lol. Oh oh shld have seen our faces when we were dared to eat the 'telor penyu' (Turtle's Egg). The taste is...errr all i can say is wasnt as what i rmbred when i use to have it way younger. One thing's for sure, im nvr eating any turtle egg any time soon. :S
Oh then there was this random guy we met when we were venturing ard the streets. We happened to be walking somewhere near him but we were along the pavement ah. He was muttering somethings but the only words that got me and fattah tickled was when he out of the blue, imagine ah he said it with fulll expression with the hands and all and poetic enthusiasm, deep voice and big eyes, he said this:
"SEPULUH RIBU. AKU MAKAN NASI!"
Gdness we were really trying so hard to keep a straight face when he said that. After passing him for like good 10 meters, dont know for what reason we jst cracked into fits of laughter. Hahaha cannot tahanla. Dont knw why we laughed also. Not to be mean or anything ah but maybe just that the way he said it was really funny. Lol. Patriotic sungguh.
Just some random thots. If only there's such a thing as getting paid for drawing cartoons all day. Wldnt that be fun? Best lah seyy. Good life.
